EMACT scholarship
EMACT (Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theatres) Scholarship
This scholarship, in the amount of $1000.00, will be awarded to one high school senior selected from the pool of applicants by the EMACT Scholarship Committee.
The scholarship is open to Massachusetts students who are graduating from high school and intend to continue their studies in a higher education theatre program (performance, design, or technical fields are all acceptable areas of focus).
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must:
Proof of registration at a college/university if possible and/or proof of acceptance is required.
Application is due by March 30, 2026
The winner will be notified by May 1, 2026

- Be a graduating high school senior from any high school in Massachusetts
- Have theatre experience in some capacity (performance, technical, volunteer work, etc) with an EMACT member group during their high school career
- Be enrolled in a college/university for the upcoming school year
- Complete the application form
- Submit a personal essay
