Board Meetings

Public meetings of the Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theatres are listed below. These business meetings are organized by the Board of Directors and are open to all EMACT Representatives and whomever is interested in attending, to discuss, plan and govern the programs and events of the organization.

Meeting Schedule

9 AM, Saturday June 12, 2010, Annual General Meeting & Elections - at the Campbell Performing Arts Center of the Groton School

The Annual Meeting of the Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theatres (EMACT) will be held on June 12, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the McBaine Studio Theatre of the Campbell Performing Arts Center of the Groton School. This is the Saturday morning of the Festival. The short business meeting will include the election of new board officers and brief reports from board members. All are invited to attend, but only paid members and designated representatives of member groups are allowed to vote.

The Nominating Committee has recommended the following slate of officers to stand for election to the board of directors:

Vice President of Publicity	Janet Schmiege Ferguson
Membership Secretary	Jennifer Parkos
Recording Secretary	Susan Harrington
Treasurer	(No Candidate)

 

The board members who are continuing in their current roles are: Executive Vice President Bruce Pennypacker, Services Vice President Gordon Ellis, Festival Vice President Norma Piermarini Marshall, and Development Vice President Cassandre Charles. Robert Hallisey will stay on the board for one year as Immediate Past President, Harriet Friedman is Member for Life, and Marshall Cannell is appointed as EMACT Historian.
Further nominations may be made and seconded from the floor at the annual meeting. Nominees should agree to serve if elected. All nominations will be elected by ballot.
