Festival 2008 - How To Win a Festival Workshop

This workshop is designed to assist festival participants to understand what adjudicators are looking for and why. It is focused on the 10 rules of adjudication and how they are applied in assessing the quality of a production.
We will talk about play selection, what the difference is between good and great and how to ensure that the production you bring to the festival can avoid pitfalls that plague companies in festival competition.
The workshop is designed for beginners and veterans of festivals and will benefit directors, actors and technicians in better understanding the festival process.
